“ This is a great local restaurant and bar. My husband & I come here a few times a month and are always greeted by friendly faces and welcoming staff. Hillary's energy makes everyone feel welcome at the bar (and she makes a great drink too) but we enjoy ourselves regardless of server/bartender and have enjoyed talking to all of them. The food is great too with the giant pretzel and irish nachos (both pictured) as particular favorite appetizers. ”

“ Well, we must be crazy because we went to an Irish pub on St Patrick's Day. As you can imagine, it was pure pandemonium inside. However, we were lucky enough to be seated inside a little private room, which was perfect for us. It was well worth the wait. The corned beef was so good and not fatty at all, and everything was just delicious. We plan to brave the crowds next year because it was so great. We used to live closer to Gurnee, but enjoyed this location so much more. The lighting is better and funnily enough, their drinking water is 1000% better. This is important if you're a water drinker like me. We'll be back for sure. ”

Our server did an amazing job, while bartending & helping other guests. The GM, Sam also helped me orchestrate this event & checked in with us several times. Food presentation & taste was phenomenal! “ Is the food great? Yes. Drinks stellar? Absolutely. But this review is something of a different animal. I was at O Toole’s with a couple friends on Tuesday and to our surprise it was bingo night. And these girls love us some bingo ;) when I got home I realized that a blue silicone bracelet my mom gave me during her cancer battle was missing from my keys and I instantly went into panic mode. I called my friends to see if they had it somehow. I ransacked my car, and in a last ditch effort, I called the bar to see if anyone had found it. Sharon was the bartender, and said she didn’t see it, but she took my number on case someone did. Not even 5 minutes later she called me back. She had checked around outside and found it in the parking lot I picked it up the next morning. This was over and above service. A gesture that meant so much more than the note and 20 I left when I picked up my bracelet the next day. My mom fought pancreatic cancer hard, but it took her swiftly. I got my family bracelets that said Fu@k Cancer, and because my mom hated the eff word, she replaced those damn bracelets with blue one that sat Cancer Sucks. That’s the one I lost. Blue is her favorite color. When I went missing, I felt a piece of her leave with it. Sharon, thank you so much for what you did. I hope you know taking a few minutes out of your night made a huge impact on me. Customer service goes beyond how quickly you get a beer or your dinner.
